Abstract: Since the parameters of the permeability and the capillary pressure curves are important for characterizing reservoirs,the standardization of these two curves is proposed in this paper.Generally,permeability and capillary pressure curves of reservoirs are measured directly from experiments on small core samples under simulated reservoir conditions.With the different curves of the two parameters,dimensio-nless relationship can be abtained by the standardization suggested in this paper,which may be used in the correlation of reservoir properties and to obtain typical curves of the permeability and capillary pressure for the reservoirs.
