DETERMINATION OF DIVERGENT DIRECTION OF BILATERAL BLOCKS OF GRABENS

摘要: 本文提出利用地堑构造的几何学资料,确定地堑形成时两侧块体分离方向的简易方法,并应用此方法确定辽东湾盆地的地堑分离方向为N6°W,这与辽东湾盆地北延的伊兰-伊舒地堑根据野外调查和应用微构造应力张量反演方法得出的地堑两侧块体分高方向N5°W的一致佐互为印证。Abstract: A new and simple technique is proposed for determination of divergent directions ofbilateral blocks of grabens using the structural geometry data. Futhermore, by applyingthis technique,the divergent directions of the graben in Liaodong Bay Basin is determinedas NNW6°and it is comfirmed by those(NNW5°)of Yilan-Yishu grabens at the north-ern extension of Laodong Bay Basin, which is determined by field investigation and the inversion stress tensor of microstructures.
