Abstract: Marine hydrocarbon geochemical prospecting is one of important methods often used in marine hydrocarbon survey.By analysing one of successful examples of geochemical prospecting in East China Sea,thepaper illustrated the techniques and effects of their application involved in marine hydrocarbon geochemicalprospectings.
