Abstract: With the analytical data on rock samples recovered by drilling mud with oil matrix, water saturation of the pays in Menggulin Breccia was evaluated. Volcanic breccia is highly water-saturated due to its fine pore geometry and poor physical properties; while gravelly sandstones and sandy conglomerates are low water-saturated with relatively high oil saturation.
