Abstract: The methods and parameters for shale gas exploration evaluation of petroleum companies at home and abroad are discussed. The key elements for shale gas exploration evaluation are studied, focusing on enrichment and admissibility. An evaluation model of “enrichment probability-resource value” is established and some calculation formulas are proposed. The evaluation results are classified. Some blocks of SINOPEC in southeastern Sichuan Basin are evaluated by means of this method.
