COMPARATIVE PETROLEUM GEOLOGICAL STUDY BETWEEN MIDDLE YANGTZE AREA AND UPPER AND LOWER YANGTZE AREAS
Chen Huanjiang, Qiu Zhijun
1988, 10(4): 305-314. doi: 10.11781/sysydz198804305
Abstract:
The character of lower architexture of Middle Yangtze Area is similar to that of Upper Yangtze Area while the upper architexture is similar to that of Lower Yangtze Area.In fact,it is a polysuperposed basin consisting of an Upper Triassic-Upper Jurassic basin,a Lower and Middle Triassic-Upper Paleozoic basin, and a Sinian-Silurian basin.Generally speaking, the petroleum richness in such a poly-superposed basin would be much higher than that in a simple basin. The petroleum prospects of deep objectives may be concluded as.1.oil/gas accumulation in Indosinian unconformity,2.oil/gas accumulation in basement rocks and ancient buried hills, and 3.oil/gas accumulation controlled by overthrusts. However, the sedimentation and tectonic movement from Proterozoic to Paleozoic in Middle Yangtze area are more active than those in Upper Yangtze Area while Mesozoic sedimentation and tectonic movements are relatively less active than those in Lower Yangtze Area.Such characteristics provide an unique favourable condition for generation, migration and accumulation of oil/gas in Middle Yangtze Area.
A THEORY FOR PETROLEUM GENERATION UNDER INTEGRATED EFFECTS OF AQUEOUS CLOSE SYSTEM
He Zhigao
1988, 10(4): 315-324. doi: 10.11781/sysydz198804315
Abstract:
In this paper,it emphasizes the significance of petroleum generation under integrated effects of highly water saturated close geological system, oil is directly generated from bacterial action under geopressure. So that the author of the paper advances a "Theory for Petroleum Generation under integrated Effects of Aqueous Close System".It is suggested that petroleum generation from bacterial action occurs at the late stage of methane generation. It is therefore a special biochemical reaction. This point is a distinctly different from other biological theories of petroleum generation.

DISCOVERY OF IMMATURE HIGH SULFUR CRUDE OIL AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE IN GYPSUM-SALT BEARING SEDIMENTARY BASIN
Jiang Jigang, Sheng Guoying, Fu Jiamo
1988, 10(4): 337-343. doi: 10.11781/sysydz198804337
Abstract:
Immature high sulfur heavy crude oil is discovered in Bang 1 Well at depth of 610.23-658.5 m in Jianghan gypsum-salt bearing basin. The principal characters of the crude oil are of low content of saturated hydrocarbons, high content of non-hydrocarbons and remarkable even-odd predominance in n-alkyl hydrocarbons. It is particularly rich in the biomark-ers,such as phytane, gamma cerane, nicked porphyrin, and long-chain alkyl thiophene, tetrahydrothiophene, etc. The alkyl thiophene and alkyl tetrahydrothiophene also have an obvious even-odd predominance. The original configuration of biologic materials is ref lectedin strerane distribution.Based on the geological structure and lithologic characters of the occurrence of the crude oil,as well as biomarkers,it is concluded that such a crude oil can be assigned to immature oil generated and accumulated in situ. Its maturity corresponds to the value of Ro0.36%.Certainly,the generation of such an immture heavy crude oil with high content of sulfur could be related to the source rocks rich in sapropelic organic material at shallow depth and low temperature. However, the more decisive factor controlling its generation may be the strong reduction environment of gypsum-salt with high content of sulfur.
ANALYSIS ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PERMO-CARBONIFEROUS SANDSTONE RESERVOIR AND ITS GEOLOGICAL CONTROLLING FACTORS IN NORTH CHINA
Xu Hui
1988, 10(4): 344-358. doi: 10.11781/sysydz198804344
Abstract:
According to plenty of experimental data and regional geology informations, the depositional history of Permo-Carboniferous sandbodies in North China are studied. It is pointed out the petrophysics perperties of sandstone reservoirs are controlled by geological factors, such as the maturity of lithologic texture, mineral composition and evolution, epigenetic reworks, the intensity of faulting and fracturing. In the newly depressing with the central uprise,it is better to search for the sandbodies in high energy zone with moderate compositional maturity, particularly for the sand beds within the range of 350 m beneath an unconformity, where the secondary porosity is well developed and is favourable for coal gas reservior. In structurally subsiding areas, the sandbody traps in high energy zone formed in early stage are the best site for the accumulation of coal gas.
DISTRIBUTIVE CHARACTERS OF BIOMARKERS OF TRIASSIC COALY SEQUENCES IN THE SICHUAN BASIN
Tao Qingcai
1988, 10(4): 359-367. doi: 10.11781/sysydz198804359
Abstract:
The author systematically analysed the biomarkers of Upper Triassic coal measures.Based on the composition and the distributive characters of the biomarkers, the depositional environment, the type of source material and the maturity of these coal measures are studied.
GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS IN LOWER PALEOZOIC OF SOUTHERN CHINA
Xu Lian, Qiu Yunyu, Wu Di, Liang Shu
1988, 10(4): 368-376. doi: 10.11781/sysydz198804368
Abstract:
Applying thin layer chromatography and gas chromatography, analysis and study are made on aromatic hydrocarbons of four Lower Paleozoic strata, including Silurian,Ordovician,Cambrian and Sinian systems. The evolutionary pattern and distributive characteristics of aromatic hydrocarbons are meaningful for the study of the types of source rocks and its maturity and oil/rock correlation.

Liang Jiming
1988, 10(4): 377-381. doi: 10.11781/sysydz198804377
Abstract:
In view of the problems of the variation of S2 Tmax values due to the changes of the amount of injection and heating rate, systematic experiments have been done.Accordingly,a reasonable amount of injection and the details of the experiment are suggested in this paper.
DEVELOPING AND TESTING MODEL ECK-1 AUTOMATIC PERMEABILITY ANALYSER
Huang Futang
1988, 10(4): 382-388. doi: 10.11781/sysydz198804382
Abstract:
This paper outlines the analytic principle of Model ECK-1 Automatic Permeability Analyser, the design of gas flow program, the calibration of capillary flow rate, the plotting for the curves of pressure and flow, the operation procedure and the correlation of testing analysis.According to the correlation of many experimental data,it is indicated that the samples with the error of duplication is less than 5% account for 95% of the total samples using such a equipment. The accuracy for the testings could reach±1.5% and the deviation for three repeated testings is no more than 4% on the same sample. For 82 rocks with their permeability ranging from 40 to 7000×103μm2,96.3% of them have their error less than 5%.

Zhang Sheng
1988, 10(4): 389-395. doi: 10.11781/sysydz198804389
Abstract:
Based on the discovery of Ostracoda in Mangchuan Formation of Luoyang Basin,Henan Province, the distribution, time and paleoecology of Early Eocene assemblage for Cypris henanensis-Eucypris subtriangularis-Limnocythere hubeiensis (C-E-L assemblage) have been discussed in this paper. It is proposed that C-E-L Ostracoda assemblage is a non-marine Early Eocene fauna widespreading throughout China. This finding in Luoyang Basin will provide new data for the studies on Early Eocene Ostracoda fauna in China and also provide a basis for the division and correlation of Lower Eocene sequences of Chinese non-marine basins.
