  • In this paper,electric logging data are specially applied in the determination of source rock types,organic matter maturity and hydrocarbon generation,thus opening up a new way for the evaluation of source rocks.By preliminary determination of organic matter maturity in the Zhangqiang area of Liaohe peripheral basins,fine effects are obtained and the broad prospects of logging data in the evaluation of source rocks are revealed.
